FAQ
Q - How often should I have my furnace tested for carbon monoxide?
A - Once a year; furnaces should always be tested at start-up.
Q - Do I need to drain my water heater? If so, how often?
A - For a longer life, you should drain once a year. A good reminder would be to drain in the spring when you have your swamp cooler serviced.
Q - Why is a tankless water heater better than a storage water heater?
A - A tankless water heater is super energy efficient, provides endless hot water, has no standing pilot, and is a great space and money saver.
Q - When should I replace my water heater?
A - Most water heaters have a life expectancy sticker on them, but this can vary depending on water hardness and usage. It also depends on how often you drain and service it. Call us and we'll be happy to provide information and a recommendation!
Q - How often do I need to change the filter in my furnace?
A - Every three months.
Q - Are you licensed?
A - Yes, and we have been for over twelve years. Our license number is 356215.
Q - Why do my pipes rattle?
A - Pipes often rattle because they are strapped incorrectly. Another common reason is that there is air in the system. If your pipes are rattling, please call us for a free review and estimate!
Q - How do I know if I have a water leak?
A - Periodically check under your kitchen and bathroom cabinets, and around your water heater, for water damage. Another clue is if your water bill increases significantly when your usage has not changed.
